About founder and principal Jill Petrie

Midfield Marketing was founded by Jill Petrie, a marketing and communications veteran who has played both sides of the field -- agency and client-side. This gives her keen insights into developing strategic marketing programs that deliver results -- on time and budget. Jill has been at the leadership/senior level and has delivered a multitude of strategic, creative, and results-oriented projects for a variety of clients in healthcare and high-tech.

What’s behind the name Midfield Marketing?

Positioned between the defensive and offensive lines in soccer, midfielders are utility players who instinctively possess a full-field view of the game, control its pace, create smart opportunities to score and anticipate defensive moves to stave off interference.  

 

You may never have played soccer, but if you are a marketing professional, the midfielder is your spirit animal.
